You have three options for the next step:

Option 1: You can come to a seminar to hear all about the LAP-BAND option.

At the seminar, one of our surgeons will discuss the problem of obesity and the options for treating this problem. We have one or two of our patients also attend and share their experience with you. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and hear the questions that others will ask. You will be provided with a copy of the patient information book: “The LAP-BAND Solution: A Partnership for Weight Loss”.

Option 2: You can come in and talk to one of our support staff in the clinic about the LAP-BAND option.

If you prefer to discuss your options privately and confidentially, we are happy for you to come to our clinic and meet one of our support staff who can provide information and help you decide what is best for you.

Option 3: You can contact us and arrange for information about the LAP-BAND to be sent to you.

For some, it can be difficult to get to a seminar or an individual session with the support staff. This is especially so for the rural people. We are happy to provide you with enough information by phone discussion and mailed informational materials to permit you to make the decision that you wish to explore the LAP-BAND option further.
